I drove through town at the height of the storm and the streets had several inches of water on them. I'm sure there will be damage in the morning.

No kidding! Second one in a year. So much for 100 year floods. These happened a year apart.
This one had the new president in power and the response was immediate and strong. I am so impressed with this guy. In previous floods, you had to clean up the mess yourself. That includes clearing downed trees across roads, etc.
